Welcome! & Testimonials
Thank you for visiting St. Paul Christian University. It is SPCU’s desire to provide an education for those who are answering the call to ministry and need to enhance their understanding of the essence of God. St. Paul Christian University and Covenant Divinity Seminary (its graduate school) exist to provide high quality, relevant distance theological education to the Body of Jesus Christ (the church) in a way that can be accomplished without leaving one’s home or job.
I had been looking for an opportunity to complete my Post Graduate work by Distance Learning. I had been commuting to Harvard University for some time and had accumulated 52 hours towards my doctoral degree. I found SPCU on the internet and discovered them to be a credible institution. I transferred my hours from Harvard to SPCU and graduated in 2004 with a Doctor of Theology degree. I highly recommend SPCU.
At the time I enrolled in the post graduate program at SPCU I was employed by a Hospice. The independent research and study format allowed me the flexibility required to maintain a full work and on-call schedule. Since completion of the program I have taken a position as head of the Pastoral Care Department at a cardiac specialty care hospital here in Arizona. My experience with SPCU was a positive one and I would recommend this school to anyone interested in independent study. (Ph.D. in Christian Counseling)
SPCU is created with you in mind. It’s curriculum is relevant. It’s delivery is engaging. It’s purpose is to equip you to be more effective in lay or clergy ministry. Please look around and let me know any questions you may have. Thanks for checking out SPCU!
